History

Morning Star Farms Landscape services opened it's doors in in 2007, providing Computer Aided Landscape design and installation services along with a basket of complementary services and products. Scott Wylie, President, has been involved in the landscape/nursery industry in Michigan for over 25 years. He has been involved in the design and installation of 100's of residential and commercial landscapes throughout the state, as well as providing them property maintenance and snow service.

In 1883, following the lumber boom Scotts Great Grandfather purchased Morning Star Farm. The family has farmed and raised cash crops and livestock on it for 5 generations. In 1993 Scott and his wife Debbie, started planting evergreens and nursery stock on a few acres. With their children becoming more involved, Christmas and landscape evergreen are the primary crop with the landscape division providing the bulk of the sales.
